John started the computer basics course three years ago and has turned it into a popular program that attracts students from all around the country. He is well-respected in the community and by fellow teachers for his leadership, innovation and good-natured humor.

Inez leads the sewing course. She works diligently with women from the greater Canchungo community and the surrounding villages to teach them a trade that will help them become financially independent.

Though Epifanio is one of the school’s youngest instructors, he’s well-respected for his maturity, intelligence and ability to repair electronics. He is an assistant in the computer-basics course and often teaches the class.

Paxinho is considered one of the top auto mechanics in the area. He leads the practical, hands-on portion of the auto-mechanics course and helps students learn a skill that is in high demand.
